Lamborghini Temerario Makes China Dynamic Debut at 2026 Esperienza Corsa Event

The 2026 Lamborghini Esperienza Corsa track day experience kicked off at the Zhuhai International Circuit, where the all-new Temerario — a true "out of this world" creation — made its first dynamic appearance in China. Featuring an all-new design language and a V8 hybrid powertrain, the Temerario is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine newly designed and developed at Lamborghini's headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese — the world's first and only production super sports car engine capable of revving to 10,000 rpm. The model's unprecedented performance delivered an unparalleled driving experience to participants and redefined the pure passion of track performance.

As the second super sports car in Lamborghini's HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) lineup, the Temerario is equipped with an all-new hybrid system comprising a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 920 CV. The internal combustion engine alone produces a maximum power of 800 CV between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm, and 730 Nm of torque between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. With the support of the electric motors, the engine can rev up to 10,000 rpm. In addition, the Temerario offers 13 driving modes, unleashing extreme dynamic performance and achieving all-scenario adaptability. From daily commuting to track driving, the Temerario sets the benchmark as a class-of-its-own HPEV high-performance hybrid super sports car with exceptional driving pleasure.

Drivers experienced the Temerario's extreme performance firsthand on the track. This outstanding performance is made possible by an all-new architecture developed specifically for the hybrid system, significantly increasing aerodynamic load — particularly rear downforce, which is up 103% compared to the Huracán EVO, and up 158% on the version equipped with the Alleggerita lightweight package. The Alleggerita lightweight package gives the car an even more distinctive, sporty and highly recognizable appearance. Externally, key components such as the front splitter and side skirts are extensively crafted in carbon fiber, presenting a more focused, track-oriented visual effect. Inside, lightweight carbon fiber elements are introduced, complemented by racing-inspired contrast stitching, further enhancing the cabin's individual expression and sporty atmosphere. Moreover, this lightweight package reduces the car's weight by more than 25 kg while increasing aerodynamic load by 67%.

Inside the Temerario's spacious all-new cockpit, occupants enter a driving environment where performance and Italian craftsmanship blend perfectly. The Temerario features an all-new Human Machine Interface (HMI) comprising three upgraded displays: the digital instrument cluster, the central touchscreen and the passenger display. The system supports 3D graphics, personalized infotainment settings, and content that can be dragged between screens with a swipe of a finger. This seamless integration of technology redefines the interaction between driver and vehicle. The Temerario's chassis design not only delivers exceptional comfort but also significantly enhances headroom, providing generous space for both occupants and luggage that far exceeds that of its segment peers — without compromise.
