Koenigsegg Regera Arrival in Hong Kong, the Regera – a new Era

The Koenigsegg Regera has arrived Hong Kong after the official car launch of the Jesko and the dealership launch of Koenigsegg Southern China, Hong Kong & Macau in April 2019. This highly-exclusive masterpiece has been delivered to its lucky owner in Hong Kong by Kingsway K Cars Limited.

This Regera model in particular takes exclusivity to another level with its full Purple Tinted Carbon body finish. The car is fitted with Koenigsegg’s ‘Ghost’ package – a series of aerodynamic enhancements that lend the car a more aggressive presence and a near-25% increase downforce. The Ghost package comprises a deep front spoiler and rear winglets designed to work in concert with the stowable active rear spoiler.

The Regera – a new Era

The Koenigsegg Regera is specifically designed to be a luxury megacar alternative to Koenigsegg’s traditional extreme, light weight, designed for tracks but road-legal cars.

The Koenigsegg Regera combines a powerful twin-turbo V8 combustion engine with three electric motors and cutting edge battery power via new power train technology called Koenigsegg Direct Drive. This revolutionary technology removes the traditional gearbox, making the car lighter and more efficient.

Regera is Swedish for “to Reign” – a suitable name for a machine that offers an unforeseen combination of power, responsiveness and luxury.

The Regera is to be handcrafted in an edition of just 80 vehicles at Koenigsegg’s production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden.
