Lamborghini Hong Kong Charity Art Exhibition "BOUNDLESS"

“BOUNDLESS” charity art exhibition was held at Lamborghini Hong Kong Showroom yesterday. Being a rule-breaker and a challenger, the Lamborghini brand has been synonymous with engineering excellence and innovation and breaking the limit to explore possibilities between aesthetic and mechanical elements with infinite imaginations. Drawn together by the common pursuit of ultimate perfection, Lamborghini Hong Kong join hands withfive Hong Kong based contemporary artists to present the “BOUNDLESS”charity art exhibition, portray Lamborghini’s DNA without any boundaries and offer new perspective to appreciate the raging bulls. The artworks are exhibited from today to 15thOctober 2019 at Lamborghini Hong Kong Showroom.

“It is our honor to join hands with the five Hong Kong based artists as well as Chi Heng Foundation. Thanks to the fresh artistic perspective created by the artists, the design of Lamborghini of different eras is portrayed. ”said Mr. Albert Wong, Director of Lamborghini Hong Kong. “We share the same vision with the artists in pursuing ultimate perfection. With boundless creativity, together we enjoy challenges, embrace innovation and shape the future.”

“Art making process is similar to Lamborghini‘s objective. Lamborghini seeks for the perfection between aesthetic and mechanism, same as art making, we both have infinite imagination.”said Hong Kong Contemporary Artist and Curator Ms. Shirky Chan. “It is an exceptional experience collaborating with Lamborghini and thank you Mr. Albert Wong for this opportunity and Lamborghini Hong Kong for supporting this charity event and also the Hong Kong art scene.”Mr. Chung To, Founder & Chairman of Chi Heng Foundation, made an effort to attend the event to share Chi Heng Foundation’s work and vision.

The five contemporary artists include Alex Lau, Joe Chan, M.C., Nelson Cabán and Shirky Chan. Artists injected their unbounded creativity and establish unique language with own deeply throughtful artwork to present the combination between the Lamborghini brand and art in the medium of painting, photography,sculpture, mixed media and installation art.

The Power of Art
The exhibition theme “BOUNDLESS” is also aimed to make a better future for the AIDS-impacted children through art creation that crosses different boundaries, and help them thrive with unbounded love. With this vision, Lamborghini Hong Kong and the five artists fullys upport Chi Heng Foundation to create memorable artworks for charity auction. All proceeds after deducting the necessary expenses will be donated to Chi Heng Foundation for providing comprehensive care on the AIDS-impacted generation in China, sponsoring and facilitating education to mitigate the financial burden as well as preventing them from dropping out from school. Your contributions will help them to be one of the future shaper.

Live Painting Activation
To encourage everyone in experiencing the combination between the raging bulls and art, Lamborghini Hong Kong invited Curator Shirky Chan to conduct a two-day live painting on 27th and 28th September 2019 in the showroom, located at Star Street, Wanchai. Shirky develops the alternative possibilities of photography and painting by combining two methods in her works. Inspire the public to explore own boundless yet unique desire of perfect body shape of car and human under the highly socialized era.
