Koenigsegg Automotive AB will premiere a walk around of the Gemera at Petersen virtual car week

Koenigsegg teamed up with The Petersen Automotive Museum, one of the world’s largest automotive museums, for its large scale virtual car week called Petersen Car Week from August 12 to 16, 2020. On August 14, 2020, it will premiere a special walk around of the Koenigsegg Gemera, the world’s first Mega-GT and Koenigsegg’ s first four-seater.

In order to maintain the global enthusiasm for Monterey Car Week in spite of concours and event cancellations under the coronavirus pandemic, the Petersen Automotive Museum decided to provide a new experience for global enthusiasm via distilling the essence of Monterey Car Week into something virtual and make the events accessible to everyone for free.

To support this meaningful activation, Koenigsegg confirmed to participate in the Petersen virtual week, CEO and founder Christian von Koenigsegg will lead a special walk around of Gemera on August 14, 2020 between 8am to 5pm PST (August 14, 2020 between 11pm to August 15, 2020 8am Hong Kong Time). Limited to an edition for 300 cars, Gemera is the world’s first Mega-GT seats four adults comfortably with space catering to their carry-on luggage. With its 1.27 megawatts of power and 3500 Nm of torque, the Gemera goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and to 400 km/h in record matching pace. Through the virtual walk around, global enthusiasm will learn more about this extreme megacar that meets spacious interior and ultimate environment consciousness.
