Lamborghini Guangzhou Annual Gala Dinner 2017

【Guangzhou, China, 17 December 2017】Almost immediately after the global debut of the SSUV Urus at Lamborghini’s historic headquarter in Sant’Agata, Lamborghini Guangzhou held its annual black-tie Gala Dinner in Conrad Guangzhou. This end-of-year dinner event attracted over 150 guests to attend, making it the most remarkable event of the day in the city.

Special guest from Beijing, Managing Director of Automobili Lamborghini Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong & Macao, Mr. Francesco Scardaoni was invited to attend for delivering a fascinating introduction to the most anticipated model of the year - Urus. He comments: “The Lamborghini Urus is a visionary approach based on the infusion of Lamborghini DNA into the most versatile vehicle, the SUV. The Urus elevates the SUV to a level not previously possible, the Super SUV. It is a true Lamborghini in terms of design, performance, driving dynamics and emotion as well as drivable every day in a range of environments. The Urus fits perfectly within the Lamborghini family as a high performance car. It is the culmination of intensive development and passionate skill to create a new breed of bull: a Super SUV that transcends the boundaries of expectations and opens the door to new possibilities, for both our brand and our customers.”

In addition, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Lamborghini car showcased first ever to public in Mainland China. It was Diablo presented in 1992 by Mr. Leo Wong, Managing Director of Kingsway Group Holdings Limited, on occasion of an auto show which was held at Tianhe Gymnasium. To honor his contribution, Automobili Lamborghini launches a brand-new body color “Viola Leowong” which is named after Mr. Leo Wong, as an optional paint color for Lamborghini customization Ad Personam Program that allows customers worldwide to choose for their bespoke car.

Joined by Mr. Leo Wong, the unique color was unveiled to guests by Mr. Francesco Scardaoni on behalf of the Italian super sport car manufacturer. “It's a great honor to me and it triggered a lot of memories that had experienced with Lamborghini. I’m really grateful to witness and take part in tremendous success obtained by Lamborghini these years.” Says Mr.Leo Wong, “I believe that with the new SSUV, a new chapter has been revealed and our solid partnership will be much more long-lasting.”
